Day 1
What are you still hiding from God?
Sometimes it doesn’t feel like hiding. It feels like being tired. Like just getting through the week. But underneath the surface, something is shifting. Our hearts can slowly harden without us even noticing.
Scripture:
John 8:12 — “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
Psalm 27:1 — “The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?”
Prayer:
God, I don’t want to live unaware of what’s happening in my heart. Help me see what I’ve been avoiding.
Day 2
What we ignore doesn’t stay small.
We often think the problem is the big things—but more often, it’s what we’re ignoring. Stress. Frustration. Distance. We keep moving, but we stop paying attention to what’s happening inside.
Scripture:
Proverbs 4:23 — “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
Psalm 18:28 — “You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.”
Breath Prayer:
Inhale: God, you see me
Exhale: Bring your light
Day 3
Managing isn’t the same as healing.
It’s easy to manage what’s going on inside. Push through. Stay busy. Keep showing up. But what we don’t bring into the light doesn’t get healed—it just keeps shaping us.
Scripture:
1 John 1:5–7 — “God is light; in him there is no darkness at all… if we walk in the light… the blood of Jesus… purifies us from all sin.”
John 3:19–20 — “Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light… for fear that their deeds would be exposed.”
Prayer:
Jesus, I’ve been trying to manage things instead of bringing them to you. Help me be honest about what’s really going on.
Day 4
Jesus is not waiting to shame you.
If bringing things into the light feels scary, it’s often because we expect shame. But Jesus doesn’t expose us to condemn us—he brings things into the light so grace can reach them.
Scripture:
Romans 8:1 — “There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
Matthew 11:28 — “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Breath Prayer:
Inhale: Jesus, you welcome me
Exhale: I come into the light
Day 5
You don’t have to hide anymore.
The invitation is simple: bring what’s real into the light. Not the version of you that has it all together—the real you. That’s the person Jesus meets. That’s the person he heals.
Scripture:
1 John 1:7 — “If we walk in the light… we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus… purifies us.”
Psalm 139:23–24 — “Search me, God, and know my heart… See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”
Prayer:
God, here is the real me. Not the version I try to present—what’s actually there. Bring it into your light and begin to heal it.
